Grand Canyon West Rim & Skywalk

Highlights

Majestic and awe-inspiring section of the Grand Canyon known for its breathtaking panoramic views, thrilling Skywalk glass bridge, and unique cultural experiences with the Hualapai Tribe.

Itinerary

The West Rim is managed by the Hualapai Tribe, making it one of the few areas of the Grand Canyon operated by Native Americans. It is approximately a 2.5-hour drive from Las Vegas, making it a convenient day trip destination for visitors!

We will be visiting Eagle Point (Where you can decide if you want to go on skywalk) & Guano Point.

Eagle Point, one of the viewpoints at the West Rim, is named for its rock formation that resembles an eagle spreading its wings.

It is also home to the Skywalk, a horseshoe-shaped glass bridge that extends 70 feet out over the canyon and 4000 feet above the Canyon floor, offering visitors a thrilling and vertigo-inducing experience. However, please note that visitors can not bring your own phone/camera onto the Skywalk. You have to purchase the pictures taken for you by the Skywalk photographers.

One tip to get the skywalk view without being on the skywalk is to visit the Skywalk Café! If you get there early enough, you might be lucky to get a window seat and grab as many selfies with the skywalk as you want!

After roughly 2.5 hrs in Eagle point, we will take you to visit Guano Point. Guano Point, got its name from the guano (bat droppings) that miners once harvested from caves in the area for use as fertilizer. You can spend 1 hour climbing up the formation and take 360-degree pictures of the Canyon.

Our tour doesn't just end there. On the way back (sometimes, we go in the morning), we will stop by Hoover Dam for an epic photo opportunity, and to admire the views of Lake Powell.
